Moorpark, Calif., March 15, 2007 – LynxGate Solutions, a provider of the CAT ATM management suite, a product of Fiserv, Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV), announced today that its CAT Traxx network monitoring product is being deployed to its client base. CAT Traxx works with the CAT product suite to monitor a financial institution’s ATM devices, network, switch connections and interface to the host system. CAT Traxx is a sophisticated replacement for the company’s former monitoring product, and adds to the ways personnel can be notified of network issues, by sending alerts via email, voice, SNMP, text messaging and pagers.
1st United Services Credit Union of Pleasanton, Calif. was one of the first clients to install and test the new product. “We have benefited from CAT Traxx with its enhanced alert features, detailed reporting on up and down times and its flexible database,” said Pat O’Loughlin, manager at 1st United Services Credit Union. “We also needed new avenues for contacts when a device is in an alert state. CAT Traxx provided exactly what we were looking for.” 1st United Services Credit Union has 29 ATMs and processes 300,000 ATM transactions per month.
To provide insight into trends over time, CAT Traxx reports uptime and activity statistics. CAT Traxx is able to monitor patterns of activity such as percentage of declined transactions and to send an alert based upon user-defined thresholds. Based on information captured in the CAT Traxx SQL(structured query language) database, additional custom reports may be generated to track key measures of ATM and switch productivity and performance.
